Owned and operated by Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Lactation Counselor, Lauren Thompson, the practice brings over 10 years of clinical experience working with families and children. Lauren prioritizes evidenced-based practice, trauma-informed care, and neurodiversity affirming practice. She believes that feeding and mealtimes should be pressure-free and stress-free environments for both caregivers and children. Lauren values parent education, aiming for families to feel supported and confident in feeding their child. She believes that caregivers are experts on their child and always includes them in their child's medical decision-making.Whether you are breastfeeding, bottle feeding, transitioning to solids, feeding a child with a restricted food repertoire or ARFID, have an infant who was born premature, have a child who is tube-fed, had a high-risk pregnancy, or another type of feeding journey that has gone in a different direction than you were expecting, Lauren has the experience to bring joy back to your feedings and mealtimes.
